Fifth Anniversary of AWE Release

24th May - today is the fifth anniversary of the AWE-release in the German speaking region.

It was lucky for me, that I got the novel two days before. So I was warned about Will's becoming captain of the Flying Dutchman. I don't dare to imagine, I had'n read that, when I went to the cinema ... Maybe I would have got a heart attack, when Davy stabbed my dear Will ...

What man is man, who doesn't make the world better?

Today the fifth anniversary indeed!
Aahh it was great.

I remember I saw AWE the day I returned from London after a wonderful trip (and a premiere that never was).

There had been leaked scripts and rumours but I always hoped it wouldn't be like that! Sadly it was and I remember feeling a disappointed when I left the cinema ( was so tired I didn't wait for the credits to finish)
Thankfully the next day I went back and stayed until the end and I may have forgiven the writers a little after that. *g*

I remember the day I saw At Worlds End,it was the first time I had been to the cinema for many many years The last film I saw was Kenneth Brannaghs Henry V. I do not like the cinema as I have in the past found the audience too noisy!!!!! But for Worlds End I went at lunch time and there were 3 of us there!!!!!!

Has it been five years already? Time really does fly.

The first time I saw it, I got to the theatre really early and got to see the end credits/scene after the credits before the actual movie. Had no clue what it was all about, though.
