Bloom as the upwardly mobile, inwardly agonised miner’s son in David Storey’s In Celebration (2007) radiated the quiet pain the playwright wanted.
Thanks IC, and isn't it nice that close to 2 years later, he is being remembered for his role in the play. From what I read from the members encounters in seeing the play, he played his role as Steven perfectly radiating the despair and pain his character was going through. I would love to see him one day do a classic or even Shakespeare.

I really think some more theatre would suit him- hell what do I know, but above and beyong purely self interest on my part! It is good that his skill was recognised, and continues to be so.
Oh those are good memories..

Given the right role, right opportunity and right play, he could knock his nay sayers right on their bum. I'd love to see him do something tongue in cheek. He would be brilliant.

Orlando would be great in Shakespeare .I can think of several parts that in my opinion he would be good in.
