This is something that I have been thinking on with Tonny and Nel for a bit now. It is still in trial and error stage. I have the tools, but I need to practice and learn how to use them.

First try....testing....testing...one...two...three..... *tap tap* is this mic on?

Thanks, Tonny and Lola

What a great selection of posters Tonny!

These are a few special requests made for Tonny, our fabulous creator and hostest of the Weekly Theme. Might have to consider doing something with these in the future.

*not sure why at the moment, but this one won't replay for me unless I open it again.

Great theme Tonny. Little did I know going to see FOTR the first time how much I would come to love these movies. I still can watch the movies and never get tired of them. Of course, alot of has to do with a certain elf, , but the whole cast and production values are just excellant.

Tonny-Wow those For Your Consideration posters are amazing. I'm glad that the Oscars did reward them at least with ROTK.

Kat-You are killing me. That sexy voice. Keep up the awesome work.

Thanks Nuit for drawing my attention to the sound bites, had somehow missed them. Thanks Kat! Love "the way is shut" and "diversion"... He does indeed have a lovely voice. LOTR marathon on the cards for the holidays...

^ So it's here! To be happy to have three Christmas-holidays is absolutely fabulous for triligies like this. I'm having LotR-celebration days every year like this: Christmas-Eve: FotR. December 25: TTT. December 26: ROTK...

Already baked enough lembas for the "journey".

I'm Glad you liked them, Nuit and Gem......wonders what Joe will have to say in the future

Here is the one that I promised yesterday before I got sidetracked....Kind of cheesy with just single caps, but it is really hard to line up audio with animations and would take forever....but at this point, I have to remind myself it is about hearing his voice anyway.

Just came in to post a link and .
Kat!
Joe? What about Balian or Will? *cough*
You really have earned another star for your work.

Back to the Fellowship. Will watch ROTK over the holidays. And I stumbled over 'The Secret Diaries of the Fellowship' at OBF in the Amusement section under 'Reading and Writing'. Not sure if I can post the link or is it hotlinking then... That is so hilarious.

Beri-I wish I was with you to watch the marathon to share in the elf love. Anyway, I will be starting my ROTK viewing tonight and finish it tomorrow (I watched FOTR and TTT last month).

Kat-Thanks for the "43" audio clip. I love that scene.

And your siggie reminds me of one of my Christmases--the 2003 "Leggy" Christmas. My Mom woke me up and told me to get dressed quick and come out to the living room. When I got there, standing next to the Christmas tree, was a lifesize standee of Legolas. Naturally I was very excited to see him. I still have the photo of me with the standee on my bureau mirror. I also got a Legolas t-shirt, Legolas magnet, the ROTK soundtrack with the Legolas insert, and the EE DVDs of FOTR and TTT.

Besides the movie themselves, I also love the extras, especially on the EE DVDs(Thanks to LOTR I've become a bit of an extras slut. ) Here are a few of my favorites from the extras:

Orlando talking about his canoe tipping over and Brett Beattie(Gimli's scale double) nearly drowning. "Whew that was close"(FOTR, Cameras of Middle Earth):

And I also love the segment right after with Viggo and Frodo's scale double(Kai?). "Vee-go, if the boat tips over, save yourself."

And of the head-butting incident and "White Light!" (TTT, Warriors of Middle Earth)

And then's there's this (ROTK, Cameras of Middle Earth.)

Lastly I want to post a wallpaper of Leggybelle's. I think this perfectly sums up our Orlando fandom. But it also sums up my LOTR/Middle Earth fandom. As I eagerly await the Hobbit movie and its sequel, I know I will continue to watch and enjoy the LOTR DVDs. And it's still the Best Trilogy Ever.

I'm maybe lost in Middle-Earth now. I've been watching all three parts over the Christmas days (and we in Germany have 3 of them, so it really is inviting to have the annual LotR-ritual then). My mom said, others read the Christmas Tale while I watch LotR... how can that be taken? Oh well...

Uhm... I forgot to take a photo of the banner though... Sorry for that. I'll see to it that I will get this over here, promised!

I watched RotK again today with the audio-commentary of the cast. Seriously, Billy and Dom kill me with their stupid comments about the elf.

Oh, and Orlando's voice............ Now must go watch the extras. Yes, I'm totally addicted again.

I'm sorry girls I haven't had time to post due to my stay in hospital on Christmas Eve.
Taking the time to recover and actually watch LOTR too!

Have thought of a new theme for next week and it will be up shortly!

Hope you all had a lovely LOTR-Xmas
