Snow White and the Huntsman

One of two Snow White movies coming out next year (the other being Mirror, Mirror), I was most amazed at the trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VY67V0wOlz8

The trailer itself is visually stunning, has amazing music, and an excellent monologue courtesy of Charlize Theron as the evil queen (she sounds a lot like Cate Blanchett narrating LOTR, actually!). I'm really excited to see this different take on Snow White!

Interestingly, Viggo Mortensen was supposed to play the Huntsman, but it fell through

Yes and Sean Bean was on the list as well.
Not a fan of Kristen though, but Sam Claflin is nice. And not too mention the supporting cast with a bunch of great British actors.

That's okay, though. Sean Bean is going to be in the next Snow White movie, "Mirror, Mirror" and he'll be playing the King.

This version looks cool! I love to see Snow White in butt-kicking mode.I love the Disney version, of course, but I love this new take on the tale and making Snow White a hero. Kristen looks awesome with the sword and shield and all the works.

I am excited to see this, I think this story needs a different take. I'm not so much a fan of any of the leads, but I am going into it with an open mind.

I just saw this yesterday and I loved it! It was much darker than 'Mirror, Mirror', as to be expected. Kristen's British accent was a bit off, but she was believable as Snow White. I like that Snow White wasn't a damsel in distress, and the story did not revolve around finding the one true love (although I like the implication of who her one true love REALLY is ). I really like Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman as well. Actually, he was the reason I went to see the movie. I cannot wait for the DVD to come out so I could watch it again!

Kristen Stewart was good, in my opinion. Chris Hemsworth, using a Scottish accent.. woohoo!! Sam Claflin was an added touch I never expected. Really..
